Pair of antique hand-carved wooden Santos figures, likely Philippine or Spanish Colonial, dating to the late 19th or early 20th century. Both figures are simply but expressively rendered, with remnants of original polychrome paint and hard-carved facial detail. The extended mounting pegs indicate they were originally attached to a wooden altar base or diorama.
Dimensions: 4-6" H x 1" W.
Condition
Pieces exhibit expected surface wear, age cracks, and paint loss, consistent with their age and devotional use. See photos for more details.
Available payment options
Item pickup is Wednesday, October 22nd from 11am-7pm in Loch Lloyd, MO (64012). Winning bidders will need to sign up for a pickup appointment time. Winning bidders will receive the full address on their invoice. Brown Button contracts with a third party mover to provide a delivery option for our bidders.
