Set of three small hand-carved wooden Santos figures, likely Philippines or Spanish Colonial in origin, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century. Each figure is carved from solid wood and retains traces of its original hand-painted polychrome surfaces in earthy tones of white, ochre, and red.
These small devotional carvings were likely used in a home altar or Nativity scene, reflecting humble, expressive craftsmanship.
Condition
All pieces exhibit age-appropriate wear, patina, and paint loss. See photos for more details.
Available payment options
Item pickup is Wednesday, October 22nd from 11am-7pm in Loch Lloyd, MO (64012). Winning bidders will need to sign up for a pickup appointment time. Winning bidders will receive the full address on their invoice. Brown Button contracts with a third party mover to provide a delivery option for our bidders. Delivery is available within 25 miles of the sale location. Bidders will need to submit a delivery request form using the delivery link emailed with their invoice.
