Purchased, played, and maintained by a former Juilliard alum since the early 1980s, this piano is the flagship model in the C series and designed for conservatories, universities, and professional use. Condition — Strengths.
• Near-perfect overall condition — cosmetically and mechanically outstanding for a 44-year-old instrument.
• Soundboard perfect — no cracks, no defects.
• Strings show no oxidation; excellent condition throughout.
• Pinblock tight — currently sitting +6 cents sharp, confirming strong tuning stability.
• Action smooth, responsive, and consistent — Yamaha’s renowned lightweight action at its best.
• Damper felts perfect, uniform sustain movement. Hammers very lightly grooved — above-average for age.
• Plastic key tops in perfect condition, no chips. All three pedals functioning perfectly.
Condition — Concerns.
• Currently averaging +6 cents sharp — normal seasonal variation from summer heat and humidity. A standard tuning will bring it to concert
pitch A440. This is the only service this piano needs.

Item pickup is Thursday, June 25th from 2 30pm to 6pm in Olathe, KS 66062. Winning bidders will need to sign up for a pickup appointment time. Winning bidders will receive the full address on their invoice. Brown Button contracts with a third party mover to provide a delivery option for our bidders. Delivery is available within 25 miles of the sale location. Bidders will need to submit a delivery request form using the delivery link emailed with their invoice.
