Crafted from a silk blend, this beautiful vintage cape has pleated detailing along the edges with beaded and sequined hand embroidered elements across the front and back. This piece has terno sleeves which are hallmarks of Filipino design. A terno sleeve is upright, has a rounded top and flat side and is cut straight across the bottom and above the elbow, reminiscent of clipped butterfly wings. This cape is fully lined and still has a Martinizing dry cleaning tag attached. Dimensions: 15" wide shoulder to shoulder; 44" wide at base; 55" max length.
Condition
Good vintage condition for age and use. There are minor signs of wear throughout. At the back interior lining there are some small markings. See photos for more details.
Available payment options
Item pickup is Wednesday, October 22nd from 11am-7pm in Loch Lloyd, MO (64012). Winning bidders will need to sign up for a pickup appointment time. Winning bidders will receive the full address on their invoice. Brown Button contracts with a third party mover to provide a delivery option for our bidders. Delivery is available within 25 miles of the sale location. Bidders will need to submit a delivery request form using the delivery link emailed with their invoice.
