Ten matching Swedish Gustavian style dining chairs in matching paint and custom upholstery. Two have armrests for the head of table seats. This style is characterized by the shield shaped backrest and vertical splats that resemble stalks of wheat, first made in neoclassical furniture from late 18th C and still made today. The distressed paint is common in this style furniture, and the custom upholstery is possibly a silk blend with distressed floral pattern. Dimensions: 39" H (Seat 20” H) x 24.5" W x 23" D.

Very good, showing only minor signs of wear. Fraying found on upholstery, but seems intentional. Some cracking and chipping in the white paint, that add some interest. See photos for more condition details.
