Oversize hand-knotted 100% wool pile Persian Kashan rug. The rug features a rich red field with a central floral medallion, navy spandrels, and multiple borders with intricate scrolling floral motifs. Woven with a cotton foundation and wool pile, the fringe runs through the warp, indicating traditional hand-knotted construction. A finely woven example of classic Kashan design in a desirable oversize format.
Measures 13' 8" L x 10' 1" W
Condition
Good condition overall with minor damage to one corner, areas of uneven pile wear visible on close inspection, and some visible wear along portions of the border (photographed). From a pet free smoke free home.
Available payment options
Item pickup is Wednesday, September 24th from 1 - 6pm in Overland Park, KS. Winning bidders will need to sign up for a pickup appointment time. Winning bidders will receive the full address on their invoice. Brown Button contracts with a third party mover to provide a delivery option for our bidders. Delivery is available within 25 miles of the sale location. Bidders will need to submit a delivery request form using the delivery link emailed with their invoice.
