Handmade sterling silver Native American turquoise squash blossom necklace. Includes an appraisal report for $2,850 from Ted R. Young Jewelry and Gemstone Appraisals (photographed).
The necklace has no identifying marks, and measures approx. 28” long, consisting of a double strand of 8-8.5mm round handmade silver beads strung on a silver oval link chain with a silver hook clasp. The necklace also features 12 attached handmade silver and turquoise squash blossoms which are bezel set with 12 oval cabochon polished natural turquoise stones graduated in size, 12 x 8mm to 18 x 14mm, blue to bluish green base color with limonite and metallic inclusions, the attached handmade silver pendant with dangle center setting contains 8 bezel-set natural turquoise stones of various sizes and shapes. The natural turquoise stones appear to have originated from the turquoise Mountain Mine in Mohave County, Arizona.
