This Navajo weaving was made with wool, cotton and aniline dye. The rug features two central diamonds surrounded by geometric designs in black, white, red and grey. The weaving is bordered by a black band. There is fabric sleeve sewn onto the back for hanging. Approximate dimensions: 54" x 79".
Condition
Fair condition, there is some bleeding at one end and one side is slightly faded from exposure to light. There are two small brown spots on one end and two small yellowish marks towards one of the center diamonds. There is another small yellow mark by the other central diamond along with minor grey paint splatter. See pictures. Professional cleaning recommended.
