This Navajo weaving is made from wool, cotton and aniline dye. It features two central diamonds in stepped designs with geometric outlines and stepped triangle formations in red, black grey and white. The red stepped border is surrounded by a white stripe and is framed with a simple black border. There is a fabric sleeve and metal dowel for hanging. Approximate dimensions: 62" x 80".
Good condition for age and use. There are some signs of wear throughout, especially at the end where it has been hung. There are signs of discoloration and strained woven elements. There is wear along the edges and two small holes forming at the center. See pictures.
