Mid-century Italian seascape by Guido Odierna, depicting the iconic cliffs and turquoise waters of Capri. The artist’s signature impasto technique captures the Mediterranean light with remarkable depth and texture. Artist signature in lower left on canvas. Presented in a linen-lined gilt wood frame with nameplate. Dimensions: 27.5” x 31.5”.
Guido Odierna (Italian, 1913-1991) was a painter from the island of Capri celebrated for his luminous seascapes and coastal views of southern Italy. Odierna’s works were widely exhibited in Italy and abroad during the mid-20th century and remain prized for their vibrant color, masterful brushwork, and timeless evocation of Mediterranean life.
Condition

Item pickup is Wednesday, November 5th from 3 - 7pm in Overland Park, KS. Winning bidders will need to sign up for a pickup appointment time.
