Lobby cards were early marketing materials used to advertise films. This collection includes 27 unframed lobby cards. A few of the movies include: "Huckleberry Finn", "Below The Surface", and "Paying The Piper". Since there are no known copies of "Paying The Piper," it is considered a lost film. 75% of all silent films are lost due to intentional destruction of the film reels after a movie's release, retaping of the reels, or the volatile, flammable composition of nitrate film. Condition
Good, visible wear consistent with average use to fair, noticeable wear; usable, but below average. There are some with some tears in the paper, wear on the edges and corners, and creases down the middle. See photos for more condition details
Available payment options
Item pickup is Friday, June 26th from 12pm to 6pm in Leawood, KS 66209. Winning bidders will need to sign up for a pickup appointment time. Winning bidders will receive the full address on their invoice. Brown Button contracts with a third party mover to provide a delivery option for our bidders. Delivery is available within 25 miles of the sale location. Bidders will need to submit a delivery request form using the delivery link emailed with their invoice.
