Lobby cards were early marketing materials used to advertise films. This collection includes seven framed lobby cards from the following movies: "The Palace of Darkened Windows", "Shades of Shakespeare", "Just A Wife, Marooned Hearts", "The Green Flame", "Down on the Farm", and "Opened Shutters". Because there are no known copies of "Marooned Hearts," it is considered a lost film. 75% of all silent films are lost due to intentional destruction of the film reels after a movie's release, retaping of the reels, or the volatile, flammable composition of nitrate film. Dimensions with frame: 12" H x 15" W.

Item pickup is Friday, June 26th from 12pm to 6pm in Leawood, KS 66209. Winning bidders will need to sign up for a pickup appointment time. Winning bidders will receive the full address on their invoice. Brown Button contracts with a third party mover to provide a delivery option for our bidders. Delivery is available within 25 miles of the sale location. Bidders will need to submit a delivery request form using the delivery link emailed with their invoice.
