Extensive grouping of 12 antique hand-carved wooden Santos figures, likely Philippines Spanish Colonial, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century. The set includes a range of male and female saints, angels, and small child figures, each uniquely carved and painted in traditional earthy red, ochre, and white tones with traces of the original polychrome still visible.
These small-scale devotional figures were traditionally used in home altars or Nativity displays, reflecting both Catholic iconography and indigenous folk craftsmanship.
The carvings show age-appropriate wear, paint loss, and patina, consistent with devotional use and great age. See photos for more details.
