19th century oil on canvas painting titled “Rent Day" after the original work by Scottish artist David Wilkie (1785–1841). The scene depicts an interior gathering of figures engaged in a domestic or financial exchange, typical of Wilkie’s genre compositions. Presented in an ornate gilt rococo-style frame. Conservation label on reverse from Eckert Gallery (1986) notes wax reline on linen, inpainting with oil paints, and Kamar surface coating. Good condition with light craquelure and minor wear to frame consistent with age.

Canvas Measures: Length 35.25 x Height 60.25
