Beautiful antique hand-carved wooden Santos figure, likely Philippine Spanish Colonial, depicting a kneeling angel or youthful saint in prayer. The sculpture shows fine detailing in the draped robes and facial features, and is a striking example of colonial ecclesiastical folk art blending European iconography with Philippine craftsmanship.
Figures like this were traditionally crafted for church altars or private devotional settings in the 18th and 19th centuries. The piece is now mounted on a museum-style display stand. Dimensions: 16" H.
