This hand woven lidded basket or backpack features a handwoven stepped geometric pattern in shades of tan and black. It is likely made from natural and dyed rattan or bamboo fibers and may originate from the Philippine Cordillera region. It would have traditionally been used to carry goods, grains, or personal belongings. Dimensions: 19.5" H x 17" W x 8" D.
Condition
Very good for age and use. There are a few loose fibers and snags. There is some surface wear at the base. See photos for more details.

Item pickup is Wednesday, October 22nd from 11am-7pm in Loch Lloyd, MO (64012). Winning bidders will need to sign up for a pickup appointment time. Winning bidders will receive the full address on their invoice. Brown Button contracts with a third party mover to provide a delivery option for our bidders. Delivery is available within 25 miles of the sale location. Bidders will need to submit a delivery request form using the delivery link emailed with their invoice.
