A U.S. Civil War Field Officer's Sword featuring a brass hilt with openwork floral design with the letters "U.S." pierced into the design. The grip is covered in shagreen and bound by twisted brass wire. Marked J.C S. No scabbard included. And a U.S. Civil War Cavalry sword without scabbard, marked C & J. Dimensions of officer's sword: 36" long; cavalry sword: 42."
Delivery is available for addresses within 25 miles of the sale location. Condition
Officer's sword: Good for antique age, visible wear consistent with average use. There are a few minor nicks on the blade. See photos for more condition details.
Cavalry sword: Fair for antique age and use with wear on the leather grip. See photos for more condition details.
Available payment options
Item pickup is Tuesday, April 28th from 12 to 7pm in Stilwell, KS 66085. Winning bidders will need to sign up for a pickup appointment time. Winning bidders will receive the full address on their invoice. Brown Button contracts with a third party mover to provide a delivery option for our bidders. Delivery is available within 25 miles of the sale location. Bidders will need to submit a delivery request form using the delivery link emailed with their invoice.
