The field of this Hereke, Turkish Ghiordes hand-knotted wool on cotton area rug is arranged in a lattice of diamond-shaped medallions, each filled with intricate floral motifs. The design features a dense, overall floral pattern with scrolling vines, blossoms, and palmettes. The border is composed of a wide main band decorated with repeating floral elements, framed by narrow guard stripes. It is dominated by deep reds, rose, and burgundy tones with accents of navy blue, ivory, and light blue. Actual dimensions: 105” W x 154” L (including the fringe).
Condition
Excellent with minimal signs of wear. There is one small dent from a piece of furniture which can easily be removed. See photos for more details.
Available payment options
Item pickup is Thursday, September 4th from 3pm-7pm in Loch Lloyd, MO. Winning bidders will need to sign up for a pickup appointment time. Winning bidders will receive the full address on their invoice. Brown Button contracts with a third party mover to provide a delivery option for our bidders. Delivery is available within 25 miles of the sale location. Bidders will need to submit a delivery request form using the delivery link emailed with their invoice.
