The Congressional Gold Medal is the oldest, rarest, and highest US award for service, given to those who have made distinguished and lasting contributions to American history. Our client was a pilot among the DUSTOFF crews, where he volunteered to fly over 1,000 unarmed helicopter combat evac missions in Vietnam, saving over 3,000 wounded. Highlights from a life of travel and elegant taste include a Charles II cabinet circa 1600, Gorham and Wallace sterling silver sets, striking vintage bronzes, original artwork, and French antiques. Thomasville Fredericksburg-style mahogany king bed. The four-paneled headboard features a simple, elegantly carved crown flanked by pilasters on either side. Bed frame only, mattress and box spring not included. Dimensions: 63.75" H x 84.5" W x 90" D, 30" H footboard.

Condition

Very good, showing only minor signs of wear, but no clear scuffing or scratches. See photos for more condition details.

Item pickup is Tuesday, February 17th from 1 - 6pm in Overland, Park, KS 66224. Winning bidders will need to sign up for a pickup appointment time. Winning bidders will receive the full address on their invoice. Brown Button contracts with a third party mover to provide a delivery option for our bidders. Delivery is available within 25 miles of the sale location. Bidders will need to submit a delivery request form using the delivery link emailed with their invoice.
