Susan Hall (American, b. 1943) is a painter and ceramicist whose work balances realism and poetic atmosphere. Born in Point Reyes Station, California, she studied at the California College of Arts and Crafts and UC Berkeley before spending two decades in New York City. Her paintings often evoke the ethereal light and quiet landscapes of her coastal home, exploring the subtle relationships between land, sky, and memory. Her work is in the collections of institutions including the Whitney Museum and the Brooklyn Museum.
