Steinway & Sons Model B (S/N 588787), a 6’10½″ (211 cm) satin ebony professional grand dating to approximately 2009–2010 (New York factory).
Steinway & Sons, founded in 1853 by Heinrich Engelhard Steinweg in New York City, is universally regarded as the world’s finest piano manufacturer. The Model B—at 6’10½″, often called “the perfect piano”—is Steinway’s most popular professional grand, equally at home in concert halls, recording studios, and distinguished residences worldwide. This instrument was handcrafted at Steinway’s Astoria, Queens factory and purchased new from Schmitt Music Company. Dimensions: 58" W x 6’10.5″ L.
