The ‘After Matisse’ rug draws inspiration from Henri Matisse’s iconic paper cutouts. Hand woven by artisan weavers, this bright and playful area rug has a special sculptural quality. This colorful area rug has been created by weaving variable pile heights, which combined with hand carving, results in a luxurious sculptured texture. It is constructed from 100% New Zealand wool. Approximate dimensions: 6’ x 7’ 5”. Originally purchased in September 2024.
Condition
Excellent used condition, there are some areas with minor pilling. A few minor spots. See photos for more details.
Available payment options
Item pickup is Wednesday, October 29th from 2-6pm in Overland Park, KS. Winning bidders will need to sign up for a pickup appointment time. Winning bidders will receive the full address on their invoice. Brown Button contracts with a third party mover to provide a delivery option for our bidders. Delivery is available within 25 miles of the sale location. Bidders will need to submit a delivery request form using the delivery link emailed with their invoice.
