This set of eight dining chairs are constructed from solid wood. There are two armchairs and six side chairs. They were made during the 1930’s as part of the National Industrial Recovery Act of 1933 as evidenced by the intact NRA stickers on the underside of the chairs. There is floral carved detailing on the frames and the seats are upholstered in a crewel embroidered floral fabric. There are metal seat springs. Good for age and use, there are signs of wear throughout including finish imperfections on the wood frames. Some of the upholstery is worn and has holes. See photos for more condition details.
