From “A Journey to St. Petersburg & Moscow," Heath’s Picturesque Annual for 1836
This is a complete group of five original 19th-century steel engravings drawn by Alfred Gomersal Vickers (British, 1810–1837) and engraved by Henry Jorden (active 1829–1838). These finely detailed plates were printed by John Hadden & Co. (London) and published in 1836 as part of the first edition of Heath’s Picturesque Annual.

Each engraving measures approx. 10.5 x 8 inches including margins (image areas roughly 7.5 x 5 inches), printed on heavy wove paper.
Good for age and use. Light foxing to margins; all plates remain crisp, clean, and well-preserved with excellent detail. Suitable for framing. Stored flat, not mounted or trimmed. See pictures.
