Decorative vase featuring a deep red glass body with a flared rim, housed in an ornate gilt-tone metal mount. The vase is richly embellished with applied figural and decorative elements, including seated cherub figures, grapevine and foliate motifs, and sculpted lion-head masks. Twisted metal handles rise from the sides and curl above the rim, adding dramatic vertical presence. The piece stands on an elaborate metal base with claw-style feet and layered ornamental detailing. Dimensions: 21.25” H x 11.25” W x 9.25” D.
Condition
Very good, showing only minor signs of wear. Glass body displays light surface wear with no cracks or chips observed. Gilt metal mounts show light rubbing, patina, and small areas of finish wear consistent with age and handling, particularly on raised decorative elements. Overall structure appears stable and intact. Item pickup for St. Louis residents is Tuesday, March 3rd from 9am to 6pm in St Louis, MO 63128. Item pickup for Kansas City residents is Friday, March 6th from 12pm to 6pm in Shawnee, KS 66203. Winning bidders will need to sign up for a pickup appointment time. Winning bidders will receive the full address on their invoice. Brown Button contracts with a third party mover to provide a delivery option for our bidders. Delivery is available within 25 miles of the sale location.
