A pair of faux elephant tusks consisting of tessellated tiles of ox bone, each elaborately carved in low relief with vignettes of dragons pursuing the flaming pearl of wisdom. Chinese, circa 20th century.
Dimensions: 32” H x 6” W x 5” D.
Good, visible wear consistent with average use. Both horns are loose at the base but remain upright and stable when positioned; movement is present and repair or stabilization may be desired. Light surface wear throughout, including minor edge wear, handling marks, and age-related discoloration to the carved surfaces and bases. No major cracks observed to the horns themselves.
