This unique pair of carved wood figural appliques feature stylized busts with ornate headdresses and scrollwork detail. Likely used as decorative supports on a cabinet or ceremonial furniture, these striking figures show strong Folk Art, Colonial, or Mesoamerican influence. Dimensions: 21” high x 5.5” wide x 2.75” deep.
Condition
Good condition for age and use. There are signs of wear throughout and a patina has developed overtime. There is adhesive residue on the back. Please see photos for more detail.
Available payment options
Item pickup is Tuesday, August 26th from 2-7pm in Kansas City, MO. Winning bidders will need to sign up for a pickup appointment time. Winning bidders will receive the full address on their invoice. Brown Button contracts with a third party mover to provide a delivery option for our bidders. Delivery is available within 25 miles of the sale location.
