This pair of antique hand-carved wood panels feature frolicking cherubs among scrolling acanthus leaves and floral motifs. Likely originating from a European cabinet or architectural installation, these panels showcase Rococo Revival artistry and charming classic decoration. Likely dates between 1850 and 1890 from continental Europe. Dimensions: One is 28” high x 3.25” wide x 1.25” deep; Panel two: 36” high x 3.25” wide x 1.25” deep.
Condition
Fair condition for age and use. Due to nature of architectural salvage some pieces may have damage, chips, need cleaning, etc. One panel is complete and the other is missing the top component. See photos for more details.
Available payment options
Item pickup is Tuesday, August 26th from 2-7pm in Kansas City, MO. Winning bidders will need to sign up for a pickup appointment time. Winning bidders will receive the full address on their invoice. Brown Button contracts with a third party mover to provide a delivery option for our bidders. Delivery is available within 25 miles of the sale location. Bidders will need to submit a delivery request form using the delivery link emailed with their invoice.
