Two half piastra silver coins from the Papal States circa 1690s, featuring the likeness and coat-of-arms of Pope Innocent XII, which have been turned into spoons circa late 19th century. One of the coins is dated 1697, the other is undated. The spoons handles terminate in rams heads. Each spoon measures 6 1/4" long.
The detail of the coins are worn with time and handling, as is typical of silver coins. Tarnish to each spoon.
