The framed painting is an original oil on board with what appears to be the signature Lyle and possibly *50 under that name. This is a still life painting in a modernist expressionist style. A collection of objects in dynamic expressive brush strokes, including a globe, a Santa Claus head, a red lantern, and flowers in a vase. However, the handwritten label on the back describes this painting as done by a friend named Bince Graffis, created in 1949, and depicts a collection of items on a small table at a carriage house, including a .45 RPM record player and Christmas decorations. The writer suggests these items indicate the place was “crazy” in the late 40’s. Dimensions: 26" H x 30.5" W x 1.5" D
