A scarce original 1985 Kansas City Royals World Series Championship staff ring presented to longtime Royals front office member Joseph “Joe” Grigoli, Director of Season Ticket Sales. The right shank features the raised Royals script above the World Series trophy, while the left shank displays the Royals logo with “Grigoli” along the side. The face reads “1985 Royals World Champions” around a vivid royal-blue stone, with a central diamond and surrounding diamond accents.

The ring was presented to Joseph Grigoli during his long tenure with the Kansas City Royals organization. Grigoli joined the Royals in 1973, the inaugural year of Royals Stadium, later renamed Kauffman Stadium, and worked in the front office under the leadership of team founder Ewing Kauffman. A beloved member of the Royals staff, Joe thrived in his role at the Royals organization for more than five decades.

The 1985 season remains one of the most memorable in Royals history. Kansas City defeated the St. Louis Cardinals in a dramatic seven-game World Series, with George Brett batting .370 for the Series and Bret Saberhagen earning World Series MVP honors after two complete-game victories.

The ring is marked “10K” gold and weighs approximately 24.7 dwt. The center diamond is approximately 0.45 ct, H-I color, SI1 clarity. The ring also features 22 accent diamonds totaling approximately 0.45 ct tw, H-I color, SI clarity.

A standout piece of Kansas City Royals memorabilia with exceptional direct staff provenance from within the organization.
