Nick Vaccaro
(Kansas, 1931-2002)
This lot includes two collograph prints signed by Nick Dante Vaccaro. The first is a print of “Apparition” and bears the note ‘purple plate’. Dimensions: 22.75” high x 28.25” wide. The second is a “Another Twilight”. It is numbered 1 of 6. Dimensions: 23” high x 26.5” wide.
Nick Vaccaro was a professor and chairman of the drawing and painting department at the University of Kansas. As an artist, Vaccaro was the recipient of purchase awards from the San Francisco Museum of Art (1958), the Dallas Museum of Fine Art (1961), and the Montgomery Museum of Fine Art, and his work has additionally been exhibited in the Nelson Gallery of Art, Oklahoma Arts Center, Wichita Art Museum, and Dallas Museum for Contemporary Arts.
Condition
Fair condition with some wear. Push pin holes evident. Some markings along edges and one bent corner. See photos for more details.

Item pickup is Wednesday, September 3rd from 11am-1pm in Kansas City, MO. Winning bidders will need to sign up for a pickup appointment time.
