The original (circa 1785) of this design was named for the founder of the East India Company which was the first company to export porcelain from China. It features the traditional Chinese design elements: butterflies, honeycombs and flowers. Historically this pattern was produced in cinnabar or Chinese red. This collection includes 6 x teacups with saucers, 6 x bread & butter plates, 6 x salad/dessert plates and 6 dinner plates. There are also 5 x Mottahedeh “Red Dragon" mugs.
Excellent condition for age and use. There is some minor wear at the base. See pictures.
