This group includes a remarkable association copy of “Gypsies", Josef Koudelka’s seminal photographic monograph documenting the lives of Roma communities throughout Eastern Europe. This particular volume bears the signature of American social-documentary photographer Milton Rogovin (1909-2011) widely celebrated for his compassionate portraits of working-class and marginalized subjects. Also included is a copy of “The Forgotten Ones" by Milton Rogovin bearing his signature along with a note from The Rogovin Collection to the previous owner. Accompanying titles include “Désiré Charnay: Expeditionary Photography", “Photo Icons Vol. 2", and others. A rare archival set that blends documentary photography, collector provenance, and historical memoir in one lot.

Item pickup is Wednesday, October 22nd from 11am-7pm in Loch Lloyd, MO (64012). Winning bidders will need to sign up for a pickup appointment time. Winning bidders will receive the full address on their invoice. Brown Button contracts with a third party mover to provide a delivery option for our bidders.
