It is detailed with polished silver-tone index hour markers, matching hands, a subtle white printed seconds track around the outer rim, and a texturized date window placed diagonally at the 6 o'clock position. The watch also comes with two extra links for watch band length. The dial indicates that this is an "automatic" timekeeper which means that no battery is required. Inside the watch is a weighted rotor, as you wear the watch and move your wrist throughout the day this rotor spins. The kinetic energy from your movement winds a tightly coiled spring inside which stores power. When fully wound by wear, the movement will typically keep ticking for roughly 38 hours even when it is taken off the wrist. To set the time and date pulling the crown out gently to its subsequent clicks will allow you to quickly cycle the date wheel or rotate the hour and minute hands to set the correct time.
