This set of sterling silverware by Manchester Silver Co. features the “Valenciennes" design which is reminiscent of the fine laces made since the 15th century in Valenciennes, France. This collection includes original receipts from the original owner in 1951. From the Valenciennes set there are the following Sterling pieces: 8 soup spoons, 8 long stemmed spoons, 16 regular spoons, 8 salad forks, 8 dinner forks, 8 butter spreaders, 1 sugar spoon and 1 butter knife. Total weight: 63.52 ozt. Inclucing a set of 8 Valenciennes dinner knives with stainless steel blades (20.12 ozt).

This set comes in a green leather Gorham case with Pacific Silver Cloth interior.

Very good condition for age and use, there are some minor signs of wear. See pictures. The leather case has creases and signs of wear as well as some breakage. See pictures.
