An antique coal purdonium from the Victorian era. Another name for a coal scuttle, a purdonium kept a household's supply of coal neatly contained and hidden from guests. Named after its inventor, Mr. Purdon, this type of cabinet was typically placed next to a fireplace for easy access. Dimensions: 38.5" H x 16" W x 14" D.

Item pickup is Wednesday, July 1st from 11am to 7pm in Kansas City, MO 64116. Winning bidders will need to sign up for a pickup appointment time.
