“Strength” is a dried glass cloche terrarium that features an ethically sourced brown cicada, hand-dried florals, an ethically sourced squirrel jaw, and a gold foil tarot card.
The artist generously donated this piece. L Hiebert (they/them) runs Mini Mushroom Art Co, where they create items with intention, honoring the specimens they work with by creating art after death. L's work utilizes hand-dried florals, ethically sourced bug specimens, and anything bug-centric. They love creating mini worlds that highlight nature and show the specimens' true beauty. You can find more of their work on Instagram at @Art_byLauren116.
