This pair of bronze sculptures by artist James Brock features an eagle (7.5" H x 5.5" x 3.25"), signed and numbered 37/48 and a turkey (4.75" H x 5" x 5.75"), signed and numbered 5/41. Both sculptures are mounted on a round wooden base.
James Brock is a contemporary American sculptor best known for his evocative bronze works that often depict Western scenes, animals, and figures. He has foundry studios in Cameron, Texas and Taos, New Mexico. He primarily employs the lost-wax (cire-perdue) casting method, allowing for finely detailed bronze patinas and textures.
Very good for age and use with minimal signs of wear. See photos for more details.
