These limited edition bronze sculptures by artist James Brock feature a dog scratching his neck mounted on a wooden base (4.5" H x 6.5" W x 4.25" D), signed James Brock 70 and numbered 1/36 and a howling wolf mounted on a rock base (6.5" H x 6" W x 5" D), signed and numbered 6/36.
James Brock is a contemporary American sculptor best known for his evocative bronze works that often depict Western scenes, animals, and figures. He has foundry studios in Cameron, Texas and Taos, New Mexico. He primarily employs the lost-wax (cire-perdue) casting method, allowing for finely detailed bronze patinas and textures.
