This pair of terracotta braziers, or hand warmers, are in the shape of urns on a raised pedestal bases with removable lids. The lids have artichoke finials. Braziers were originally used to hold burning hot coals and were used as a means of warming hands on cold nights. Today they could be used as candle holders or garden urns. Dimensions: 37" high x 17.5" diameter.
Condition
Fair condition. There is some cracking to one lid. There are signs of wear throughout, including chips to the finish and interior residue. See photos for more details.
Available payment options
Item pickup is Thursday, July 24th from 3pm-7pm in Kansas City, MO. Winning bidders will need to sign up for a pickup appointment time. Winning bidders will receive the full address on their invoice. Brown Button contracts with a third party mover to provide a delivery option for our bidders. Delivery is available within 25 miles of the sale location. Bidders will need to submit a delivery request form using the delivery link emailed with their invoice.
