A refined monochrome brush painting depicting slender stalks of bamboo with expressive leaves, rendered in graded ink washes and accompanied by calligraphic inscription and artist seal. The accompanying outer label identifies the piece as “Ink Bamboo", one of the most enduring subjects of Chinese literati art. Mounted on patterned silk backing with original storage tie and handwritten identification slip on the scroll exterior.
Dimensions: 6 ft L x 12.25" W.
Condition
Excellent for age, with light creases and toning to the paper consistent with storage. See photos for more details.

Item pickup is Wednesday, October 22nd from 11am-7pm in Loch Lloyd, MO (64012). Winning bidders will need to sign up for a pickup appointment time. Winning bidders will receive the full address on their invoice. Brown Button contracts with a third party mover to provide a delivery option for our bidders.
