Detailed 19th-century architectural etching by Henri Toussaint depicting an elaborate Gothic courtyard in Rouen, France. Dimensions: 14” x 12.5”. 

Henri Toussaint (1849-1911) was a French painter and etcher celebrated for his finely detailed architectural views of European cities. Working in the late 19th century, Toussaint specialized in etchings that captured the Gothic and Renaissance grandeur of cathedrals, palaces, and courtyards across France and Belgium. His works are noted for their precision, atmospheric light, and the romantic charm of Old World architecture.

Condition

Item pickup is Wednesday, November 5th from 3 - 7pm in Overland Park, KS. Winning bidders will need to sign up for a pickup appointment time.
