Three vintage Mexican folk art bird sculptures by Alexander Blazquez. Brutalist-style metal construction with bodies made from tightly layered, curled strips of tin or chrome-toned metal. Each bird has a brass accent to the beak, face and inset round glass or stone eyes, wired legs, and dimensional feathering detail. Sculptures made of these mixed metals were produced by Alexander in the 1960s. Dimensions: 11" H x 9" W x 9" D (largest) - 7" H x 6" W x 6" D (smallest)
