A group of 7 sterling silver vanity items and 1 silver plate item, all with cherub motifs, including:
- Solid sterling vanity tray, hallmarks for London circa 1896, 8 1/2" x 12", 8.22 ozt.
- 4 hair brushes, all with Birmingham hallmarks.
- Handled mirror, Newcastle hallmarks, 9 1/4" long.
- Picture frame, Birmingham hallmarks, 3 1/2" round display window.
- Silver plate reticulated basket, 1 1/2" x 7" x 4".
Condition
All of the vanity items are in good condition considering their age. All items have minor tarnishing. The smaller of the two rectangular brushes has a significant amount of tarnishing and wear with a small nickel sized dent at one end and its bristles show significant coloration. The other 7 items only have slight wear and tarnishing.
