  1. Philobiblon of Richard de Bury, Bishop of Durham
    Printed in a fine press edition by the Book Club of California (San Francisco, 1934). Handsome typography and layout in red and black with illuminated initials. This is a limited edition copy, hand-numbered (#229 of 250), printed by Edwin and Robert Grabhorn. A cornerstone text for bibliophiles, originally written in the 14th century as a treatise in praise of books and learning.

    Published by George Macy Companies (1950). A beautifully printed commemorative volume celebrating the 21st anniversary of the Limited Editions Club and the 50th birthday of its founder. Includes a reproduction of the program and menu from the Ritz-Carlton dinner event. Printed on high-quality paper with elegant type and design—an artifact of mid-century American fine press culture.

    Published by Duschnes Crawford, Inc., New York. Features contributions from noted bibliographers, collectors, and printers, including essays by Stephen Vincent Benét, Oscar Lewis, Malcolm M. Willey, and Rosamond B. Loring. Topics include bookplates, paste papers, literature of the gold rush, and early printing. Illustrated throughout; printed by E.L. Item pickup is Wednesday, June 4th from 1-7pm in Kansas City, MO. Winning bidders will need to sign up for a pickup appointment time. Winning bidders will receive the full address on their invoice.
