This lot includes two woven baskets and six different textiles from around the world. The larger basket has a handle and a dramatic fringed bottom. Dimensions: 26”H. The smaller basket weaves green and pink in with the natural toned fiber. Dimensions: 3” H x 4.5” diameter. The ‘Toran’ or door hanging is likely of Asian origin. It is 37” W. There are a set of 3 ‘mola’ textiles, each is approximately 16” W. Finally there are two African mud cloth textiles made from 100% cotton that were hand made on the Ivory Coast. Each is approximately 37” W.
Condition
Good used condition, there are signs of wear throughout. See photos for more details.
Available payment options
Item pickup is Wednesday, September 24th from 1 - 6pm in Overland Park, KS. Winning bidders will need to sign up for a pickup appointment time. Winning bidders will receive the full address on their invoice. Brown Button contracts with a third party mover to provide a delivery option for our bidders. Delivery is available within 25 miles of the sale location. Bidders will need to submit a delivery request form using the delivery link emailed with their invoice.
