This lot includes a pair of religious items. The first is a holy water font that is mounted on stone with brass backing. There is a ring for hanging on the reverse. It depicts Jesus and possibly Mary Magdalene in communion. Dimensions: 10.5” H x 6” W. The cross features a painted enamel design. The back is metal and bears a Paris hallmark along with the initials MJ and an additional indistinguishable hallmark. Dimensions: 8.75” H x 6” W.
Condition
Good for age and use. There is a corner of the stone that has broken and been repaired. The mount does not appear to be original. There are signs of wear throughout. See photos for more condition details.
Available payment options
Item pickup is Tuesday, February 17th from 1 - 6pm in Overland, Park, KS 66224. Winning bidders will need to sign up for a pickup appointment time. Winning bidders will receive the full address on their invoice. Brown Button contracts with a third party mover to provide a delivery option for our bidders. Delivery is available within 25 miles of the sale location. Bidders will need to submit a delivery request form using the delivery link emailed with their invoice.
