A fine Chinese stoneware vessel from the Song Dynasty period, 12th-13th century, likely excavated in the Philippines. The globular form features a tall spout and twin lug handles, covered in a thin olive-gray glaze that has developed crackling and earthen burial patina over time.
Vessels of this type were exported throughout Southeast Asia via maritime trade networks, valued locally for their craftsmanship and ritual significance.
Dimensions: 5" H x 4" W.
Excellent, with light encrustation and surface wear consistent with archaeological recovery. See photos for more details.
