Doug Freed (American, b. 1946) is a Missouri-based painter known for his luminous abstract landscapes and color field paintings that explore the interplay between light, space, and atmosphere. His work bridges the boundaries between representation and abstraction, evoking both natural and spiritual dimensions of the landscape. Freed’s paintings have been exhibited nationally and are held in numerous museum and corporate collections. He is also the founding director of the Daum Museum of Contemporary Art in Sedalia, Missouri.

Item pickup is Wednesday, October 22nd from 11am-7pm in Loch Lloyd, MO (64012). Winning bidders will need to sign up for a pickup appointment time.
